A51 Relaunching NBA Adrenalyn XL Website for Panini America

August 15, 2010 — A51 is currently redeveloping Panini America’s NBA Adrenalyn website, due out in January 2011. The recently released NBA and NFL Adrenalyn XL online trading card games have already experienced significant and growing success. Panini America has therefore opted to have A51 redesign the NBA Adrenalyn website using the template used for the NFL Adrenalyn website, to achieve consistency across the Adrenalyn series of sites.

While game play will remain unchanged, A51 will be making adjustments for the brand image and design colours of the NBA, while staying true to Panini America’s own brand characteristics. Each of the Adrenalyn XL sites are similarly designed, with a black background, but all are uniquely tweaked with colours and images to specifically portray each distinct league. Lead designer for A51 describes Panini’s completed NBA Adrenalyn XL site as, “fun, youthful, energetic, and extreme”.

A NBA Trading Room will launch shortly after the website. Players will be able to negotiate exchanges and trade virtual cards online.

An Adrenalyn XL online forum is also currently being developed, which will provide a safe and fun online environment for Adrenalyn XL fans to debate the games, ask questions to a Panini representative, and discuss potential trades. The Forum will be moderated by A51’s Adrenalyn XL customer support representative.
