Business-to-Business e-Commerce Extranet in Development, for Panini America's Licensed Collectables
August 15, 2011 — Following the successful release of Panini America’s Business–to–Consumer (B2C) e–commerce store earlier this year, A51 Integrated has been contracted to deliver a Business–to–Business (B2B) e–commerce extranet that will be used as a transaction and reporting portal by the company’s retail customers. A51 was excited to have been chosen for this project, further extending the mutually–beneficial partnership that has developed through past design, development and social media initiatives with Panini America.
Similar to the B2C e–commerce store that was developed earlier this summer, the B2B extranet will help to simplify the sales process for Panini by providing distributed data exchanges with retail customers. While custom–built on its own Microsoft .NET MVC platform, the B2B extranet will inherit a similar creative to that of Panini’s B2C store to provide visual and functional consistency across Panini’s e–commerce properties. A51’s Lead Designer Steve Schoger, will again seek to deliver a neutral design that complements Panini’s diverse product lines in sports and entertainment.
Panini America’s B2B e-commerce extranet is scheduled to be released in 2012.
